LeVine Shows McPherson and Ding

I'm especially excited about todays post because I love Tara McPherson (Ok, maybe I don't love HER per se but I DO love her art work. Take a look and you will see why http://www.taramcpherson.com/).
I was first exposed to Tara after seeing her in work featured in Juxtapoz magazine (if you are familiar with this mag, you will see why they are also in love with her). Her work has also been shown in Esquire, Vanity Fair, Bust AND she was dubbed the Princess of Poster Art by Elle magazine. Wowza! The list is much longer but I won't bore you with her impressive resume when there is art to be drooled over...

I love the erotic comic book feel of these two pieces. So crisp and clean while remaining delicate and true to graphic novel form. She has also created some really impressive sculptures and poster art which can be seen on her site (listed above).
Xing's work tends to be a little more fairytale-esk while working in a similar style. Though I could not find an official website for her, I did find her myspace page (ugh, I know...SO lame) so until she gets one started, you can view her work here: http://www.myspace.com/xiaoqingd
Don't let myspace's horrible layout and annoying popups deter you-her art work is also fantastic...
